My colonist's last name changed. How do I change it back?

My Colonist 'Logan Ke'er' got married and now his name is 'Logan Sherill.' How do I change this back? I'm tempted to have his son replace him as king with a firing squad now that a Ke'er is no longer in charge of the Ke'er Kingdom.

they got married probably. you can change nickname or something like that but not the last name.

Well he chose to be part of the Sherill family instead of continuing the Ke'er family line. Time for his son to order a firing squad. Long live King Jacob Ke'er.

There might be an option in dev mode, I don't remember. If I want to change a name I use this mod:

That mod is a great idea to fix something that has already been done!

My dude just got engaged and it informed me there would be a name change.

I was able to force the relationship between him and his fiancee into being spouses and prevent the changing of his last name. So thats another option for anyone who is engaged and doesnt want the name change.

I haven't played this playlist in so long but I do remember my roleplaying went a little far. I put half the colonists with King Logan, half with Prince Jacob, and had everyone shoot everyone across from them. Both King Logan and Prince Jacob died so they all supported Princess Madeline (Permanent brain injury) after that.
