Plus the mod makes unique starts alot easier to setup. Scenario settings are iffy at best.
Not everyone like losing, not everyone like struggle and "unfair" conditions, not everyone happy about favorite colonist getting shot in head, infection, flue and plague at same time just because virtual GM given him black mark.
This is "unfair" but this exactly how game is designed.
Removing randomness from starting characters is ok, as long as you intentionally want to miss part, where half of your pawns unable to figh and second half got plague and then raid comes.
Or probably when only one of colonists can cook and mad hare bite his head off and you stuck with raw food only and everyone got mad.
this makes no sense to me , you can put stats down as well as up . You not forced to create better colonists . I like it for changing there looks and giving funny traits. you can make it more challenging or easier.
The First is - when i have created a good start team - i save it for a new try on another map. (And change the look).
or to save funny persons or recreate some persons i met ingame.
