Why 20 though ? Also you can use this in the future for smart selecting, quick select all kinds of X, etc etc

even cheaper is to make the heaters coolers ramp up and down... so more heters go in hig power mode when the temp sink to coldsnap levels.
so say you wanne have it around 20c
put heater up to 15c 10c and you AC's to 25c 30c
so as soon a heat waves make the base 28c some acs will jump on. might it become more extreem like 35c then all you ac's will be powering on.
(your heater will be on stand by in the is time. and you have to find a sweet spot for howmany ac and heaters your base needs.)
If you can't survive through 2 solar eclipses right after each other, then you will have energy problems, you must always be prepared for emergency, if your daily life consumption is so hard to keep up, you realy should reconfigure your base management.
It's not like getting a few extra components and steel is that hard.
