What do you do with tainted clothes?
Keep getting dinky little raiders coming in and getting shot dead, I want to strip them of their clothes but it's all tinted (tainted by a corpse)

Should I just stockpile it and sell it to caracvans/traders? (is that possible)

Also what do you guys do with raider bodies? Just bury them in graves? (not at the point where I have a crematorium)

Can't sell the tainted clothes anymore, I think, so i just burn their clothes. I save the bodies for emergency food and burn the excess.

I did so in past versions (i.e. foprm a trade caravan and then bring the clothes to nearby friendly villages) ... I guess it is still possible in 1.0
It (i.e. forming trade caravans to sell useless stuff) is the reason why I take care to always land less than 1-2 days travel from a friendly tribe (usually less than 1 day, thanks to roads)

Leave the clothes on the bodies, not even worth it. Early on i create a dumping zone exclusively for dead humans a decent bit away from my base. Just build a wooden wall around it so when your pawns walk by it they don't get a ridiculous mood debuff. ( it won't just be observed rotting corpse x1, it'll be x10+ ) Eventually you should just build a crematorium somewhere and be sure to unforbid all the people you kill so they'll fry them.

That's a really interesting idea.
I used to build graves for fallen enemies somewhere far from the colony ...
but as one can guess, over the course of the game this enemies graveyard woul´d grow bigger and bigger over the course of the game.

A body dumping stockpile with a wall around it sounds like a good idea

There is also always the crematorium if you feel like burning them with molotov is not the way to go

you can also save the body for your predatory animals, thus, you don't have to hunt animal or butcher your own tamed animals

Well, now that traps cost something to re-arm i thought of an alternative; now i use all those 'tainted' clothing as flamable material in wide Tunnel rooms leading into my base. Raiders come on in , one of my defenders sneaks out and throws fire behind them. Another defender then throws fire in front of them.

Presto - the makings for a GREAT cannibal bar-b-cue party !

Add those dead bodies into the mix of clothing if you want to raiders to suffer horrible mood debuffs as they burn to death ...

I typically burn dead ppl and dead ppl clothing

Until I get someone who doesnt get debuff for handling them. Then I will mince them for food for example. Once you get a psychopath your options expand. You can use them for psychological warfare for enemy raids.

But be warned.. if you place the corpses of your enemies on display by the door.. .your own pawns AS well as visiting pawns ( i'm pretty sure of this anyway ) will get debuffs when seeing them.

So if u do a killbox then jus make sure you have doors that friendlies can use to avoid the blood and gore on display.

Keep in mind there is a mod that allows you to break down clothing and recover some materials. This is different from the mending mod... well maybe same mod but its at least a different feature itself.

So you can recover idk 60 ingredients of the 80 required for a duster. IDK the exact recovery ratio I'm just trying to illustrate the concept

You can also get a mod to recycle the clothing back into a % of the original material used to make it. Don't know if any of them are ready for 1.0, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are. The 3 I can thing of off the top of my head are/were:

Mending
Recycle
Reclaim Fabric

If you stick all the tainted armor inside a transport pod and launch it at a settlement in range you will increase your faction with them.
