What's with all the alcoholic baby hares?
Think one of the best and annoying thing about this game is all the silliness. Found one of my colonist feeding a baby hare and I was like why? Did I miss an attack somehow? Then I found out he's blacking out from alcohol... A 4 days old baby hare... Who's feeding him alcohol?? Or how does he even open the cap with his tiny paw? Ay yi yi... So many mysteries to be solved...

The rabbits are drunk because you left beer out where they could drink it, duh. You probably shouldn't have kids.

That's where you're wrong. The now Juvenile Hare has developed a massive Alcohol Tolerance (And cirrhosis too unfortunately). The lesson here is when you have kids, you SHOULD give them lots and lots of alcohol, that way they can build up their alcohol tolerance. That is all

If you're low on food your colonists will start drinking alcohol. Which includes feeding your animals beer.

I had a bunch of drunk chickens once. About half of them got cirrhosis. Had about 200 beer bottles stocked up when I ran out of food for a bit. Tough winter. But they all lived.

Animals will do drugs if they have access to them (ot 10 tiles near them). It is made intentionally (although I thing it is a bad design). Animals Logic mod can remove this behavior.

I tried putting out alcohol for my guests to buy (hospitality mod) but my staff keep drinking it! I know I can restrict their areas, but I gotta let them in there to clean. If I forbid the items guests don't seem to buy. Am I missing something? (Main thing I learned in this game is if you can't do what you want to do, you're probably missing something)!

My colonists think I’m a total square. I don’t allow any alcohol or drugs in the colony. We burn them all

I recommend the Animals Logic mod if you keep pets in your colony and don't want them ingesting drugs.

Hmmm, that sounds nice but unrealistic. I know my gf's dumb:ConcreteDonkey: dog ingested (pharmaceutical) drugs any chance it could get, whenever they were left too close to the counter edge. Long story short, I'm happy to say we're an all cat household now.
