Wireless Power mods?
Anyone know of any mods that include some form of wireless power? I'm making a cluster of islands into a base using sd Bridges, but conduits seemingly can't be placed on the seabridges. I /can/ leave some solid ground for conduits to run on, but that makes the bridges themselves pointless.

Does anyone have a wireless power option, or some other sort of solution other than "make your base on one giant island"?

You could use underwater power conduits that come with the cave biome mod-requires caveworld flora, they do cost 10 steel each but that can be easily fixed
A new save is required for these mods

The only wireless power mod i could find was for A12

I see... You might be the lad/lass that sent me those links a day or two ago. I haven't installed them yet due to the very reason of starting a new save XD In that case I won't be able to rectify the issue until I start another colony, and will have to use *cringe* landbridges for my power supply.

I think you could also make normal power conduits go over water by changing <terrainAffordanceNeeded>Light</terrainAffordanceNeeded>
to
<terrainAffordanceNeeded>Undefined</terrainAffordanceNeeded>
in Rimworld\Mods\Core\Defs\ThingDefs_Buildings\Buildings_Power.xml

Possibly. In the meantime, I've worked out that using the landbridges covers up the terrain fully in terms of sprite, and can still have wires on it since it's still *technically* on land. I mean, I'll always know it's not proper bridges, but I suppose the Caveworld mods will fix that ;)

It would be ridiculously micro-intensive, but you could also charge batteries on the mainland and carry them over to the island. Or you could build some kind of power generator on the island itself, depending on how much you need.

That's the thing; if it were one giant island, it wouldn't be an issue. This base is a whole cluster of little islands, practically with each structure on its own island.
