"A potential first engine pack DLC after the game is done: I2, Boxer-2 (Flat Twins), V4.
In case the sales are high enough we’d consider making: I8, Flat-8, Flat-12."
will it contain wanken (rotary)
Then you might be interested in the Ford Nucleon. You could probably build it as an electric car and use mod parts to simulate the reactor and elecric motors, if you've a mind to: External link --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Nucleon
There were quite a few "atomic car" concepts, but they were, of necessity, rather vague when it came to explaining how it was going to work.
We'll probably have to wait for DLC or an extremely clever mod. It's hard to slant engines in the current model. Well, actually, it's easy, but all the fixtures on the engine maintain their orientation to the block, so slanting an engine can be difficult if you also have a low bonnet/hood, because if that part of the car is sleek and low, parts of your intake or exhaust might peek out when you'd rather they didn't.
True, they can't really be detailed on the reactor itself because making a reactor, the radiation shielding around it and the crash structure to protect it all in a crash means you pretty much have to use weapons grade uranium to get the reactor small enough to fit in a car. Which is obviously just a bit of a proliferation hazard...
