Does anyone else hate the latest update?
I just fired the game up after not playing for a while, and ugh, why?

Why did they ruin this game?

If you could elaborate a little bit on what you don't like, and where the pain points are, it might be a little more helpful...

Well for 1 thing, you've taken a game that everyone can play and enjoy and made it into a game that only people with a high understanding of how engines and each component works (or those who care to learn all the complexities of an engine) can play and enjoy. I know a bit about engines from working on them in the '80s and ''90s but, I find the current game to be very frustrating. I also hate the graphs and struggle to understand them. Just my 2 cents worth. :)
You will get used to it. I quite like the extra difficulty. It really gives satisfaction to create a great engine.

That may have been a valid criticism at some point in the past, but you can now generate complete engines with a single button click. Let the computer do the work for you, if that's not your jam.

I for one happen to think this is a great game not just for casually messing around but also for those who actively want to learn more about automotive engineering and physics. Especially for those folks who aren't in a position to spend tens of thousands of dollars on tuition (again) and years in a classroom to do it.

This game always required a decent understanding of how cars and engines work. I have no idea where you are coming from saying this is a new occurrence.

Well for what it's worth, proper tutorials are some of what we will be working on starting in the next major update, because we agree that there are a lot of things that could and should be far better-explained in Automation!
Well, if your issues is bugs its an OPEN BETA

I have no doubt that there is a niche audience that likes the game as is. I think it would appeal to a greater audience if it weren't so complicated. I look forward to the new tutorials.

I bought this game in winter sale and immediately download "Al-Rilma" update so I don't know how engine designer looked previously.

But I really don't think it is complicated and you must have "high understanding of how engines and each component works" to make engines in it.

Honestly I would appreciated even more options to set in it.

Simplified things to "appeal to a greater audience" is way to hell for games like this.

And no I am not some car mechanic or something like that.

Even more than that - an open alpha. This usually means "so many bugs the developer is reluctant to take two steps into the alphabet."

You wrote that you had less issues with older versions of the game.

So which of the new parts do you struggle with? Maybe it can be helped in the meantime until there are better tutorials. ^^

You've overly complicated the ui as compared to how it used to be, it's far less intuitive, the ui was great before, now it's a slog to do simple things.,

Stuff that used to take a single click, now require multiple clicks

It's not difficult, and no, I won't.

The new ui just sucks.

I do not like the gimmicky ai and auto generate stuff either, no thanks.

I think you've added complexity, just for the sake of complexity, and it detracts from the experience.

I don't need or want tutorials, I want a usable user interface.
