Dealership Confusion
So currently dealerships and their complete lack of U.I. has kinda pushed me away from the game for the last few months(I only really play campaign) because I know at some point it will get fleshed out more. But as it stands, I really want to go back to my favorite game and I just get frustrated by the dealerships. Ive tried quite a few different things, and while not only does whatever I sell always sell about the same amount to any demographic that doesnt have a seat or body type penalty severe enough to neuter it, it seems like there is no real sense or reason to what dealership happiness and level are doing.

Right now my family and premium car company is constantly dropping happiness in the target demographics because my production levels transitioned from being nowwhere near enough to now its just enough to build enough stock to last a tooling? Its the same number, type, and quality of cars we were making 5 years ago and dealership happiness was rising then. Now we are gradually losing level in some of the demographics we directly cater to. Besides that, the happiness and level have no rhyme or reason to me designs. Convertible premium has really high happiness and the third highest level, yet we have never made a convertible. The highest level is in Utility and its budget companion, but we have never made a ute, solid axle, or ladder frame. The highest happiness and one of the lowest levels is delivery, you guessed it, we have never made a van or even a car with an open seating row. Anything that currently desires a sedan or wagon is pretty static or very slightly climbing in dealership level somewhat lower than Utility or Premium Convertible while the happiness either slowly or quickly drops. We make a wide range of basic to premium sedans and wagons.

I feel like trying to make sense of the dealerships right now I'd have better luck by licking a bag of mortar, throwing a brick, and hoping a wall appears.

This isnt aided by not being able to adjust the sale price of a car once a succeeding facelift is started, very inconsistent price "margin" on a trim in the forecaster when facelifting with vs without factory changes, and the fact that cars are sold both way too broad in that market currently, but also cannot be sold into specific regions.

Like we REALLY need to be able to control where a car sells and adjust how much in each region like the KEE versions had, see who a trim sells to, and adjust the prices of trims that are not just the most recent and not releasing for 18 months facelift. And we need to be able to do this without having to load the car designer menu for each model, so maybe on each trim there could be a popup on company menu with a list of the sales numbers and names of the top 5 selling demographics and a "discount/markup" option per region with a check box to allow or deny sale for each of the 5 regions? This would make the sales data alot more useful, allows a more invested player to create a wider and more pinpointed lineup of trims without cannibalizing the most profitable markets, and would definitely help vehicle stock level management on at least the player side of things. It would definitely help when transitioning models, or if competition drops a really good car while living off stock during a tooling, or to be able to actually profit off Arhana selling a no prestige no emissions $#!^box that is so cheap itd undercut the rest of the other markets and ruin prestige.
