iirc they said i8 and other rare engines like i2 and v4 MIGHT just MIGHT come as a DLC in the game full release, but it all depends on the money they will have.

How many production cars since 1946 use inline 8's?

There are a number of requests that I think would trump a kind of engine that has had practically zero use in the timeframe of the game and certainly has no real niche in the game (V8's are just better). Maybe they'll end up doing something in a DLC eventually, as the FAQ says.

Read the FAQ, maybe?

well not much, but since it's a video game and not reality, we might as well to try and stupid stuff work in game and pretend we're the best engineers ever

Hoping for the DLC to happen with this one. There will be comments of v8's are better that's universally understood. Some people just like playing with different designs the same idea get's boring quickly.

Inline 8-cylinder engines were a thing for quite a while. Not really practical but they did exist and were used in some vehicles, mainly luxury oriented ones. Learn to Google/Bing or something before you make such a stupid comment.

Alright, fair enough. I just expect a bit better of people here since I think most of us have an interest in automobiles. Enough to know there were inline-8 production engines anyways.

Most of those i8 engines were pre-war, or if they were put in post-war cars they were still the pre-war design. Same reason the game doesn't have old V8 valve designs like Flathead and Hemi, they weren't very popular post-war.

But they still existed and were used for a while. I didn't say they should be added, just that they did exist. Big difference there.

THE HEMISPHERICAL HEAD HAS LITERALLY BEEN USED BY DODGE FOR THE PAST 50 YEARS

Fix your quote, I didn't say that. Also yes, the Hemi is still in use so it really should be in the game.

How many production cars still use hemispherical combustion chambers? i can't think of any, the chrysler hemi used today is closer to a pent roof chamber, not an actual hemispherical one.
