loading taking so long
help i cant playing this game bcause when i open it, i waiting so long in the first loading.. *sorry for the bad english

Yeah, the initial load is quite slow, even on an SSD. It is what it is.

I thought the recent stable update was supposed to fix that but perhaps I was mistaken. Well, we shall see then.

The Beta has load times averaging about 40 to 80 percent faster from what I've seen. This is without mods installed of course though.

Loading times have improved drastically for the current openbeta / soon-to-be default branch.
@Vader: no, that was just a fix for the certificate that ran out, making engine sounds disappear in exports.

To put numbers to it, may game used to load in about 5 to 6 minutes. It's now down to 30 seconds.

Probably a HDD. I'm on a SSD and load times are under 2 seconds.

Yeah, speeds up both a lot, My load times at home have gone from 3min to less than 30sec on an HDD, and at work form like 25 seconds to 5 seconds on an SSD.

Thanks for necroposting. It sounds like you might have a DRAMless SSD. Basically not much faster than an HDD, but still something. Either that or there's something wrong with your system or you have it installed somewhere else, like an actual HDD.
