Indeed that doesn't sound right. That info alone doesn't mean much though as how well the car is set up matters a lot. The stats you mention are all in favor of the muscle car in the calculations too. Also, which year is that in? It may be amplified by a hole in the markets in the light sport category.

well, the problem is any sporty car with 350+ hp [estement} goes in this catigory. theres no real definishions on a musle car, mabye if it had to be rwd or have at least 400hp it would be nice to have those restrictions. its like my problem with trying to built a race car. theres no spesalised or minimums to define anything.

You are wrong about that. Muscle cars have a very specific definition in the markets and you can see the scoring down in the bottom screen when hovering over the demographic, it is the most specific category of all actually. Being RWD gives them a bonus, straight line acceleration (Quarter Mile) and higher engine capacity do too.

I just checked and built a Muscle car with a 7L V8 RWD in 2015 and got the highest competitiveness score in Muscle cars with a score of 163.3 without fine tuning. The score for the car in Light Sport is 150, as I set up the suspension to corner well, too.

Which year are you in?

mostly in the 80"s, but THATS my problem how can i have a musile car with a fwd hatchback and still score in the 80"s?

If there are no good muscle cars in the market at the time, then cars which clearly are not muscle cars will be reasonably competitive in that market. The thing is though: a proper muscle car will always score higher in the muscle category than a FWD Hatchback family car. I just tried that out in the 80s and everything is working as expected.

but see thats my problem. just a good car can fit in the musile section with no real expections. with my past resalts the least deserving to be called a mulse car can still get in easy with a go sportyness rating. i think you could implement more styilised catigorys so one car cant get a to indeapth catigory. kind of like you did with offroad.

Well what is a muscle car stats wise if not a RWD with a big displacement engine and good straight-line acceleration?

Sorry, I'm not quite sure what you mean?

Sometimes I can even sell a FF car as muscle and pony to 90+ points

There is nothing wrong with that, it says more about the competition (or the lack thereof) than your car. I guess you will just have to see and wait how this plays out.

OK.... but one last request can you add in diffrent saftey standerds for race cars later? or more defined catigorys. and one last reguest... can you add in formula 1200/1600/ford/vee race cars. i think that would be cool.

Adding open wheeler race cars would be many many months of work, as everything is designed for normal cars ;)

Plus it's a game about running a company that sells road cars, so it's not really core to what the game is about.
