Where do i find the mods?
Hey guys!
Where do i find the mods that i subscribed to? From all the mods i subscribet to i only found one in sandboxe mode. No matter if it is a car body or headlight/rims/whatever, they just dont show up.
Do i have to activate them?

They should show up as long as your subscribed to them, just make sure they are for the version you are running, most are for the Unreal version as the other version has been abandoned.

Ive seen that aswell, but it still doesnt work.
I currently have the following mods:
LeExhaust
VMOs NON-GT-R r35 body
Montes modern headlights
Porsche 911 (Body)

The only one that shows up is the Porsche 911.

Of the mods you listed only 2 of them are actually for the UE4 version of the game: Porsche 911 and Montes modern headlights. Montes modern headlights has a standing issue with the mod where it doesn't show up, judging by the comments on the mod page.

Interestingly, if you filter the Workshop mods by game engine there are 77 mods that display for the Unreal engine and only one for the Kee engine.

Yea, i think because some creators didn't add the tag "UE4".
Which means there are 77 mods that work, and the rest can work but doesn't have to?

The sad thing is that I imagine there are a number of mods that run on the UE4 engine, but the aurhor didn't add the appropriate tag. And the only way to find out which ones work is to try every one.

I thought it was pretty clear from the mod screenshots which version of the game the mods are for. Kee looks different, reflections and materials in general are less good and the car designing room looks different and it doesn't have the photo mode of the UE version. If you can see the light gray walled car designing room in the mod preview screensots, it's a clear indication of the mod being for the Kee version. Or if the mod is made before October last year when modding the new version became possible.

I wish that all the Kee mods would be removed from the Workshop, mainly because that version is not being supported by the devs anymore and would help remove the consufion. I need to still go through all the mods that I downloaded and see which ones work and dont.

There is a UE4 tag you can use in the workshop, that filters away all Kee stuff.

Is the filter useful when the mod creator doesn't use it? I've filtered out the one mod that appears for the Kee engine and am left with three pages of UE4 mods. If I don't filter for the game engine I get 12 pages of mods. Obviously there are a bunch of mods where there is no way to know if they will work in UE4,

Not your fault, but maybe you could require the mod creator to include the tag.
