You need to export the car for sharing from your car manager and send it so us so we can have a look and sort it our with the next patch! Please send the .car file to support@camshaftsoftware.com and mention it crashes on export!
Cheers!

No idea, but try cleaning up your Automation save data if you haven't. Back it up, then export to file (share) your cars, delete your data, import cars back, and try to export them again.

Alright, ill see how to do that

If I make an engine totally whacked (too much fuel mixture, or ridicolous 12000RPM for a 6L motor) should it still WORK to export it to BeamnNG?

That is a good question... if it actually runs in Automation and has any non-broken power/torque curve then yes, it should work, BUT there may be untested cases: for example when fuel economy is super bad or something :) best send along the .car file and we'll have a look and fix it!

I got a crash earlier when I tried to export a car I'd already exported before (I wasn't sure if I had when looking at the list, but remembered I had when it crashed). I don't know if this will help in any way.

Alright, its because of the rev limit I set on Automation.

I set it to 12000, and on 8000 it warned me of knocking

Now I successfully exported it.

However, in BeamNG my car only goes to like... 120km/h but I set it to go to 180 on Automation, how does this work?

Can't comment without having your car :) The top speeds should be pretty close +/- 5% max.

Alrighty!

Here you go:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-P4pLyJ0Qnn4dAD9AKqC9QujhN0bjWCW

I want to have the RPM close to 9000, because that is what I was able to reach in real life with that car
(you will quickly see what I was trying to build)

But the top speed is somewhere around 120km/h now, and I guess thats more than 5% from 180km/h

( was reaching 170km/h with my car once, hence why i put it to 180)

Well, :-/ that looks like some pretty horrible tuning actually, wouldn't know where to begin. What are the specs you are building to? Because I can't imagine this is an accurate technical representation of that car.

Haha well im not a mechanic so im no expert to begin with

Well, I followed carfolios info about the Opel Corsa A

Rest I just aligned so it would reach 60bhp, because thats the cars specs

IRL it didnt have a RPM limiter at all, so hence why i put it so high

I know this is a slightly older thread but i found that my game crash on exporting my car was caused by the wheelie bar mod, in particular the larger cross braced wheelie bar and not the smaller ones.

started crashing since i exported a car with too many lights, now crashes even with normal cars.

Is it something to do with my pc? (Gtx 1050 ti i5 4590 16gb ddr3 ram)

2008 called, it wants its ram back...

Lol there's nothing wrong with DDR3 what are you guys talking about? I run an i5 4430 that also uses DDR3 and it runs the game fine. DDR3 wasn't very common in 2008. Try clearing your cache in the games launcher and verifying your games files trough the games properties (right mouse button on the game in Steam).
