dual exhaust´s for inlines
am i the only one that wishes for a dual exhaust system for inline engines?

Hmmm, I've seen people ask before and i don't remember Killrob's answer, so i'll assume, i think it may be coming, but not in this update, maybe in LCV 5.0 (The one after the update we are currently waiting)

Kinda of true, there are a lot more single exhaust inline cars, but some inline sportscasrs do use them, iirc it's half the cylinders for each exit or something like that

Yeah I have heard of this. A lot of cars I see will have a "dual" exhaust (even if it is an inline) but it isn't a true dual, it's just a Y pipe.

Which still works at some point, even the Y pipe divides the pressure inside the exhaust, making possible the use of smaller exhausts pipes and a cooler look

My irl car is an I4 with a Y pipe, been wanting to make my car with an dual exhaust in automation, sadly, doesnt work :( hoping in some future update the dual piped i4's come by

I'm pretty sure 4.2 will add dual exhaust, beta hopefully next month :).

I shoot at middle this month, i was wrong, so yea, september with luck, but i don't think dual exhaust inline engines are coming now

There is a solution for adding the exhaust in your beamng export;
In the modfolder there is a folder named something like 5760c, codename for your engine
In that folder edit the file named camso_engine_structure_5760c.jbeam
There is a section like:

This rotates and flips the main exhaust for a mirrored look. Sadly this also copies the intakes, small price to pay. I also added a tiny ofset in z to eliminate the textures fighting, hope this helps

There's nothing stopping you from just putting a second muffler, just because it's technically not connected, just use your imagination. I know this kind of sounds sarcastic, but I literally just had to tell myself this the other day after building 100s of inline cars with one exhaust
