Ok that's pretty cool actually. Will you need an RTX card to run it or does in run on any card like the Crysis remaster? I probably know the answer already but it never hurts to ask lol. Glad you guys are experimenting with it, already very content with the graphics but this (and maybe HDR) could make the game look a lot more realistic.

CryEngine's software-based raytracing isn't great and is extremely resource hungry. Almost no one would be able to run it and Unreal doesn't have that (as far as I know) RTX is hardware accelerated so it's a lot faster and more efficient. AMD is expected to release their raytracing GPU at the end of the month.

So by 2021, you probably won't need an Nvidia card specifically. But I do have a 2060 and it is AMAZING for 1080p gaming. Highly recommended.

That's incredible! I'm really excited about this because raytracing makes car paints look AMAZING.

little question, wouldn't HDR and SSR do the job pretty well for automation? I mean there's not a lot of moving reflections to work with so i don't think rtx actually changes a lot
