That's incredible! I'm really excited about this because raytracing makes car paints look AMAZING.
CryEngine's software-based raytracing isn't great and is extremely resource hungry. Almost no one would be able to run it and Unreal doesn't have that (as far as I know) RTX is hardware accelerated so it's a lot faster and more efficient. AMD is expected to release their raytracing GPU at the end of the month.
So by 2021, you probably won't need an Nvidia card specifically. But I do have a 2060 and it is AMAZING for 1080p gaming. Highly recommended.
