I know how to design the first engine of Family 1. I would like to find out how to create a variant of this engine without affecting the original one.
Can you describe how to do it ? Please.
If your project is already greenlit, you'll have to create a new facelift, when the current one goes in production.
If you're still in planning, you have two options:
1 open a car trim, go to the first engine tab click on the clone engine variant. This will create a new engine variant within the family.
Or you can from the overall project planning page go to the engine side by clicking the little calendar like icon on the left side of a trim's box. From there you can duplicate an engine variant and then modify it.
