Premade engines?

I know absolutely nothing about engines, and even though game provides all the necessary information in a very convenient way I still just suck at it. The best one I've constructed is 80hp and this is using expensive parts.
I know you can import automation engines, but I can't find any downloadable engine anywhere on the internet.
EDIT: I've found that premade engines are on workshop but I can't find a single one, maybe add a special tag for them?

You can have AI generate engines for you. In sandbox you can go to the engine manager page where it lists all your engines, and in the bottom middle there are buttons, one of which says "switch stats / generator" when having the mouse over it. That will give you the engine generator where you can set a target demographic, year, region and company tech pool and it will generate an appropriate engine for that.

Yeah that generator is useful.
If your engine only makes 80hp there is something very wrong

Must be very small displacement engines or they are knocking really bad due to cam profile being too low and fuel octane rating being really low. Restrictive exhaust can hamper power as well.
