Also, you might want to have more overall downforce. That makes your car more stable and lass suceptible to the force of lift, which is going to affect the way your car handles. I had a F4 car that was constantly understeering, some front canards gave it downforce because previously, the front end was lifting off the ground.
Also, note that SPOILERS DO NOT CHANGE DOWNFORCE. USE WINGS INSTEAD. I learned that the hard way...
and as someone who has also driven cars hard in Forza, you are probably in great need of learning how to manage snap oversteer
