A (possibly) simple request surrounding Truck/Ute bodies
Hiya, so I spend a LOT of my time building trucks (offroaders AND utility and even some family) in this game. I am aware that the lack of modern truck/ute bodies is just a consequence of the game still being in development and that there will be more added in the future (modern RAM looking truck body pls fingers crossed). However, my problem is with the current bodies on just about every truck body in the game currently.

I end up spending a long amount of time on tail lights whenever I'm building a truck. And I don't believe it's a consequence of me being indecisive but rather the games limitations on what I'm allowed to do with the taillights. Truck and Ute beds, by nature, are rectangular and boxy in shape and it seems like the fixture editor REALLY doesn't like making 90 degree angles. However, this presents a sorta problem as I then have either really skinny taillights squeezed inbetween the tail hitch and the rear side paneling or I have tailights that just straight up go INTO the tail hitch

This is an example of what I mean

to me this just doesn't work...I mean that's not really how tailights go on trucks? As an example, here's a 2016 Tacoma (Which the Kuma Astoria is (very roughly) supposed to be based off of)

The lights aren't on the tailhitch and they aren't squeezed flat onto the back in the corner either. They're placed directly on the corner.

I'm really hoping something can be worked out with this? I know it seems like a small thing, and I guess it's not the worst thing in the world, but being a relativley minor issue should mean it's relativley simple to fix yes? or at least doable?

Yeah, that's a kind of painful limitation of how we deal with taillights. We can certinally look into trying to improve how well they deal with 90 deg corners, but it's very much a "technical limitation" not just a "we don't allow you to do that"
