Cant Make a Profitable Company in LCV3
I've tried to make a profitable car/truck/van/SUV and no combination of the 60+ campaigns i've tried will make any money.... why? Everything regardless of engine, bodysytle, interior and factory size seems to do nothing but hemmorage money? None of the cars make enough to support even a tiny or small factory in almost any country. Then when I go to facelift the car, I can't sign off on the engine (And when it lets me past that screen.... it finishes engineering & tooling it apparently appeals to no demograpics at all (Black demograpics across the board with no numbers) I'm at my wits end here and I really need help. I've watched the tutorial and copied it nearly exact and still cant make money.... Help?
I've designed cars with everything from regulart to supreme gas, no safety to advanced 50's, tiny 500cc 3 bangers to v16's and cars that enter production as early as 1948 to car that start in 51'...... in almost any factory size cept' large and huge.

Whilst I have managed to make profitable cars I always seem to end up with cars selling really well & then sales just cease totally apart from a single trim about a year into sales. Can't figure out why.

That sounds like you never upgraded your dealership network maybe? That would leave you with really small markets. You having issues with facelifting engines is currently being addressed here, there will probably be at least a partial fix for that in today's patch.
Other than that it is really hard to say what you're doing wrong without seeing what you're doing. You can check out my LP of the LCV3 too, a really profitable run so far.

I'm unsure if this is releated but for me starting in Gasmea seems to lock all market's desirability and affordability to 0 after the car is released even though in the signout screen the marketshare shows 110-130 after the release it drops to 0 in almost all markets along with competitiveness and affordability even with an el-cheapo car which had the manufacturing cost around 3500 but it seems i can sell cars with profit if I start in Fruina (economic safe cars)

That certainly isn't happening to me, I just played a test game in Gasmea without that issue, so it must be something else you were doing differently. If your car sells in Fruinia, it will sell in Gasmea as well, but maybe not as many. So the question is what did you do that the game didn't like? Do you still have a savegame from the broken state?

I think I still have it, I'll check it tomorrow after I wake up

If you don't, just send us a savegame for when it happens next time in the new version released yesterday :) best make one savegame manually before signing off your car! So we only have to sign it off and see what happens. That way would really show what is going on (just make sure it actually happens after signoff then :P).

Sure , I'll try to see if it happens again when I has some freetime , I don't have the savegame anymore (I just checked while writing the message) , also a video recording about it would be useful ? and should I send the savefile there or to an email address ?
(Sorry if I ask obvious questions I didn't had any problems with automation before, and thank you for your patience and for helping :D )

When you have a savegame, then send that (zipped) to support@camshaftsoftware.com with a description of how to reproduce the bug (and what happens) from there. You find the savegames in Documents\My Games\Automation\Campaign
That is always very useful to figure out what is going on :)
