Creating a high torque low HP engine
Hey guys, I am creating a military like vehicle atm with a 6 cilinder boxer engine. I have chosen this engine purily because it sounds good in BeamNG haha.

I am trying to create and engine with a low RPM limit and massive torque with low HP. Something like max 250-300 hp but over 800 NM of torque.

Anyone has tips how to create this?

Cam profile around 19-21, longer stroke than bore (bore 75.0x100.00 stroke or a similar gap at higher displacements will give you almost diesel like numbers), and drop the exhaust size down until you start needing higher octane, then dial it up one size bigger than that. boom.

Low cam profile and slightly strangle the system with a narrower exhaust. If it's carburetted then lower the ignition timing too.
Might try making the engine undersquare (bore less than stroke) but i don't think it makes too big a difference.
