I put in the turbo I am using for my i3s: compressor 62.0 turbine 40.0 - and indeed the good low end characteristics have returned.
My mistake was using the values from my i6 which are much much higher (up to compressor 85). I did not fully understand the implications that biturbo is two i3 turbos :)

But the V6 is doing great and brought my cars in 1:35s on the Automation track, it was really just a question of understanding that the V6 is closely related to the i3, all disadvantages have resolved and V6 is the king of turbo engines (narrowly before the i4)
