As would I
The issue here is tech pool.
Sandbox works at a fixed zero tech pool, which means most techs are only available once they become completely mainstream and standard. And that's not realistic at all. If you build your cars in Career Mode, and apply some tech pool, by the time you reach the '80s things will look at lot different. For example a few points in Tech Pool will allow you to invent V-Tech and get it to market *before* Honda.
Putting tech pool into Body Styling lets you design cars with particular bodies earlier. For example, with enough points in Tech Pool you could make a Range Rover in the mid '70s.
A few more early fastbacks like the postwar Chevy Fleetline[www.barrett-jackson.com] or Nash[auto.howstuffworks.com] would be nice. Changing the morphs to some of the already-existing bodies would be best, if that doesn't require more work than building from scratch.
I also would like to see a few more FC vehicles, like the Jeep FC[en.wikipedia.org] or Jeep FJ-3 Fleetvan[bringatrailer.com].
I would also like to thank the Devs for including a dead ringer for the DKW Schnellaster[en.wikipedia.org]. It's the only minivan body available (at least, that's worth building something with) up until at least the 1960s, and it has an unexpectedly good amount of downforce at speed, provided you stuff a powerful-enough engine into it. ;)
There's a possibility to edit the Flatnose body into the more accurate rendition of 911, not so sure about copyright issues (well, at least PCR had issues with it) and possibility to see it in vanilla game.
That's not how it works. You please as many people as you can, you try to please a majority. It's impossible to please everybody. That applies to all capitalism, even in-game. It's not like you can build a car that would ace every single market segment equally, because as in all things you have mutually exclusive taste and needs.
And besides, this thread should be on the official Discord. Or the official forums. The devs don't come here anymore.
