Racing stripes?

So two questions:
1. How do I make racing stripes with current fixtures in game? I tried with the sunroof but it makes all kinds of weird spikes and stuff no matter what I do and other vents/bumpers I've tried just don't look anything like stripes painted on.
2. Will things like strips/decals ever be added? I mean normal cars like Camaro's and Mustang's and even Civic's have stripes and decals so this isn't a track car thing so I'm not sure why we wouldn't have stripes/decals.
