Benefit of electric or viscous LSD when exporting to beam?

I used to use the electric lsd for the extra sportiness and better times on the track, but in beam, they behave like open diffs in extreme situations. I've found that geared lsd's are the superior option as far as beam goes. Is there any real benefit these days to using the other options, other than an improvement of automation scores?
