.net Framework Issue

I couldnt start the Game. Framework tells me that "Microsoft DirectX Direct3D Version=1.0 2902 0 Culture= Neutral Public Key Token 31bf3856ad364e35" could not be found... THX for any Help

Windows 8.1 everything is Updated... I restarted my System but still cant play the Game

This sounds like the DirectX June 2010 redistributable has failed to install properly. We have had this issue occasionally.

You can either download and install it yourself here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-nz/download/details.aspx?id=8109

Or Right click Automation in Steam, Properties. Local Files, Browse Local Files. _CommonRedist, DirectX, Jun2010 and run DXSETUP.exe

Hopefully that'll fix it.

This did not fix my problem. I get a microsoft message that says the game has stopped working. Look for online solutions or close program. I did try the DXSETUP and it didn't do anything for me. Any other ideas?

Is it the same error message as above? Can you please copy and paste it? Or post a picture of it.

I closed steam and restarted it, it has been working fine ever since!

That is weird, the Error basically states that it can't find the appropriate DirectX assembly, which the Redist should fix. Sounds like something more fundamental is broken with your .net framework install.

It might be worth uninstalling, and reinstalling the .net Framework 3.5 ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-nz/download/details.aspx?id=25150 )

And then trying the directX redist again.

On Windows 10, but the fix suggested did the trick. Ie. Right click Automation in Steam, Properties. Local Files, Browse Local Files. _CommonRedist, DirectX, Jun2010 and run DXSETUP.exe

I have tried installing the June 2010, yet the game still gives the error. I can't figure out how to reinstall the .net Framework 3.5. Above, there a bunch of files in the folder instead of a setup.exe file.
