Is there any way to get Workshop mods working in Steam Proton?
Hello! I'm running Ubuntu on my computer, and it runs Automation almost flawlessly thanks to Steam Proton/Steam Play.
I have an issue with using Workshop mods, unfortunately, and I really want to make some pre-war cars for BeamNG.

Any other Linux users here know the fix?

Sorry this is only guessing since I don't actually use Linux myself, but it is an educated guess since I am a modder: If you can actually download the mods and the problem is just getting the launcher to enable them, you could try manually moving the downloaded mod into the games' plugins folder. On Windows the downloaded mods go to SteamApps/workshop/content in numbered folders and the launcher creates a junction point for them into the game's plugins folder once it has determined that the mod is compatible with the current version. So if you can download it but not enable it, digging the mod from the workshop content folders and moving it to SteamApps/common/Automation/UE421/AutomationGame/Plugins (assuming the folder structure is the same) might just work.

Doesn't seem to work, but thanks for trying!
Edit: I can't use the launcher, I have to start the game without it, because otherwise it just crashes.
