Kirsche did not increase game sales for Crime Boss
Did you know that Steam's official statistics for games being sold on their storefront is:

On average, during natural circumstances, every 30 copies being sold results in 1 review left on the storepage for a game.

Meaning, during average and natural times, without any controversy or elevated attention because of outside factors, for every review you see for a game, 29 other people have also bought the game, but did not leave a review for it.

In the past 4 days, there have been roughly 1000 negative reviews left on Crime Boss, in the name of Kirsche, after she asked her fans, her loyal audience, if they own the game, go and leave a negative review for it.

The storepage has a total of 7400 reviews on it, so before the controversy, we had 6400 reviews from average people during a natural, calm period for the game existing on Steam.

If we consider Kirsche's action of giving out a command for her fans, her loyal audience, to absolutely go and leave negative reviews left for the game if they have purchased the game because of her, so 99% of those reviews actually come from the entire POOL OF PEOPLE who own the game ONLY BECAUSE of Kirsche, that means:

Kirsche is only responsible for Crime Boss selling 1000 copies. Because this was a direct command from her to her audience to do this, we can take it as guranteed that every one of them, who could, did indeed act upon her request. And that number is 1000.

In the meantime, with 6400 reviews coming from previously through a long period of time, during average neutral times for the game, we can actually multiply those by 30, as is Steam's official statistics on "copies sold to reviews left" ratio, on average.

And that number is 192.000.

So, that pretty much concludes the following:

The game sold naturally 192.000 copies just by existing, being a game on Steam, without serious media involvement or elevated attention from gamers from the wider gaming community.

The game sold 1000 copies thanks to Kirsche advertising and convincing her audience to buy the game.

Because we can take it for guranteed that the overwhemling majority of those individuals from Kirsche's audience, who actually only bought Crime Boss because of Kirsche, are only 1000 people. Because that's the number of negative reviews left on the game, following the drama.

So, what does that mean? Is Kirsche the best thing ever to happen to Crime Boss, as she and her audience has claimed? Was she really the only reason why the game is still alive and didn't die on the spot with a mediocre release on Epic games?

It's a curious case really.

You do know that doesn't account for reviews being changed lol

But keep huffing that copium and enjoy watching another game dying out because of the reddit and "journalists" performative outrage.

interesting how the game peaked, from 150 daily to over 7000 when Kirsche started playing the game 🤡

This whole blowback is political in nature, and, rather sadly, politics are based on emotions, so don't even try to reason or use logic and rational thought, you're not going to succeed in changing minds of anyone. Just play the game and wait for this to blow over.

All time peak was from the 2€ sale last month where Payday fans heavily promoted the game because they are dissapointed by Payday 3 and not because some nazi named Ku Klux Kirsche promoted it

You should contact the game devs, you can help them calculate how much money they have left after this fiasco with your made up math.

who cares if she increased the sales for CBRC, i know i won't be playing any game by this dev ever. she did convince me to do that!

Now now... she didn't convince anyone not to buy the game... the devs did that ;)
So that is a whole lot of bloviation. In the end if I could post a meme about your statement it would have to be the Metal Gear: Revengence one about the senator making it all up.

From seeing you in multiple threads now you seem really invested in defending the devs/publisher for actions they took. I mean unless they pay you or you have made this a core part of your persona take a step back and reflect on the issue.

From what I have heard even the devs have previously mentioned the support of Kirsche so it mattered on some level. Also seems there was a player boost when she started playing, again seems like some impact on some level. At this time it was already going down hill but the devs/publisher just tripped on their shoelaces and broke their nose bending over backwards to appease people that are already crapping on them and their game for other perceived slights.

If she had no impact why is the current reviews in the red and down to under 40% I think?
So then what about the "homopobic" chuck norris being in the game isn't he on the same level as Kirsche?
Or are we gonna look the other way because he's already in the game.

Or... just or... people are sick of this pandering nonsense and feel the need to educate the studios to not do it again?

You mean when the game was free to play on all platforms, except on Steam, on which it was $1.99?

Or do you mean when the game launched on Steam with an attractive price after being an Epic exclusive for a year?

Because this game hit 7k on Steam twice and the reasons listed above and I don't know which one you mean.

Ok so it was more available? So... who got the game in the minds of the greater and new audience? Was it all Kirsche? No but did she have an effect? Of course. You just don't like that idea since she is a "bad person".
