not sure if you can see this progress bar anywhere else
I m not sure if you get boss xp for winning at all, I always figgured you simply get 2 boss cards, or 2 boss levels unlocking 2 boss cards
so far for every win I always just got 2 cards i think (havent played the campaign in a while), whether its my first win at a low boss level or my latest win at a high boss level it was always the same amount of boss cards that are being unlocked
so for me the only thing that actually looks like its giving boss xp would be the assets, as it appears winning just gives whole levels or straight cards instead of incremental xp
but yea I also agree, the only reason to stretch out the campaign is to buy more assets
You will only get XP for your account for completed missions/robberies. YYou only get Boss levels for completing the campaign and quests. I have Boss level 135 and for about two completions I have not received any bonuses. I just took everything. In general, I think this is crap. There should be a good reward for completing the company with experience! At first, you will earn the boss level quite quickly. Well, and then, it will turn into a routine. And it will be easier to finish the company and buy a bunch of assets. Some assets appear in additional tasks (Dragon Dogs, car, Penthouse).
I recommend completing the company on easy or medium difficulty the first couple of times. I completed it straight away on hardcore and spent about 20 attempts. I highly recommend first getting as many Casey bonuses as possible (and not only). In particular, reducing the cost of assets by 25% before buying them on an industrial scale. Because there are quite a few expensive assets there. One personal island costs 13 million.
Once you have received all the main bonuses, then you can stretch out the completions. You can get 2 million for each major robbery. Small robberies, a little luck for financial deals... I used to sell as I could, the main thing was that the price was positive, now I sell things only for a bonus of 30% and higher. By the way, when finishing a company, you can take out a loan. This will allow you to buy out some not very expensive assets and raise your level a little. When finishing a company, you can forget about interest. The game finishes the company and no longer remembers that you ever took out a loan.
That's kind of what I was wondering. Is there any point in dragging out a campaign beyond money for assets. Because sometimes it feels like it's faster to die on Day 2 than run a campaign for 2 weeks, in terms of levelling up.
It is important to just play until level 20-30. Whether you lost or not is another question. And then it will be quite difficult to pump levels this way. But for completing the campaign you will be given a guaranteed bonus.
for fun, i once restarted a campaign after day 5, and didnt get a single card.
my guess is that boss level XP is granted for quests, compelting missions with baker on the team, and finishing the campaign gives a bit extra.
to see if having baker on the team gives XP, you would need to do a testcampaign where you dont do quests, and never have him on your team.
Just whack other gangs as fast as possible.
