How do i trigger Cagnali and gold dlc in the main campaign?
I have been playing for a while (it's my first run so i'm going blind and maybe messed up some things but it's going good so far, tho norris is almost on me) but no signs of the dlc.. i have almost eliminated Cagnali and i'm afraid if i remove her territories it won't trigger, the dragoons are still around but again i thought it would have triggered after a defense against them.. can someone help?

I've run about 15 campaigns and not seen Cagnali once, and Gold Cup ONLY once. It's random chance as far as I can tell and probably tough to force to appear. If you wish to see them for completion's sake, use the alternate mini-campaign options on the main menu. But if you seek to actually have fun with robograves or Dragon ally... then keep retrying as far as I can tell.

Ouch.. Okay thank you a lot for the answer!
Now to be fair I wasn't FISHING for Cagnali so much as trying to get those campaigns knocked out for the unlocks, I imagine I would have had a lot better odds seeing both if I drug those campaigns out closer to the 15-ish day limit and saw more than maybe two big heists per run.

Well, first off Dollar Dragon and/or Cagnali need to be active.

However, Cagnali Heist often seem to come up mid-late into the campaign. Usually after at least 3-4 Big Heists prior.

Gold Cup can be your first heist if you're lucky. Or unlucky given it has a lot of preps and if Dragon doesn't already own Beautiful Ridge as a turf and it's Cagnali territory, you're in for a rough ride.

Best tip I can give you is to delay your campain as long as you can. Every storyline/heist triggers roughly 2 days after you finish the previous one and they're all in random order.
Khan has 2 storylines: Dragon Dogs and Import/Export
Dollar Dragon has the Gold Cup
Cagnali has Cagnali's Orders
and then there is the Money Train and Hidden Vault that don't require any gang to be alive (unless you want to use their special options i.e. giving the money train cash to Dragon to piss off from the map and same for Hielo in the hidden vault)
Hielo doesn't have a storyline

All of these will trigger in one single run, but you need to delay your campaign to like 15 to 20 days and need to strategically take out the right gangs in order.

My strat was to immediatley wipe out Hielo, there's no point in having his gang take up space. By that point one of the storylines would start. Regardless of them, start dismantling every gang and only leaving one single turf to them, shutting down their defence every day. Depending on the rolled storylines, I'd take out the according gang. For example, if my first storyline was Golden Cup, after finishing it, I'd just wipe out the Dragon from the map and not have to worry about it. Khan has 2 storylines so that means that he'll usually be the last gang active in your campaign if you get really bad RNG (like in my case, where I got Money Train and Hidden Vault as my first heists...).

tl;dr delay the campaign on purpose and allow the other gangs to stay alive until you complete their storylines. You should roughly get all of them eventually in a single campaign, it just takes a lot of time.

as other users said, if you want to quickly experience those storylines, just use the quickstart campaign option.

Very usefull advice, thank you a lot!
I think Cagnali spawns ONLY whe she is the last rival left, otherwise she will never spawn. Gold cup can spawn anytime, but you need to have one of your territories next to one of Dragons territories, since it needs you to complete a scripted defence against the Dragon to spawn after the cutscene. This is sometimes glitchy, and sometimes it triggers multiple days after the first cutscene.

No, her campaign can start when all other gangs are still around.
Unless the recent patch changed things, the LONGEST you can drag a campaign out is 15 days taking both bribe the cops options. This can be extended with Gloves permanent upgrades or by killing detectives, but the latter is a bit of a crapshoot now that Jupiter's story is moved out of the campaign. So if you want to keep fishing for Cagnali or Gold Cup, just keep an eye on the day counter. It's way better to take a win and bank another Boss Skin unlock than to get Chucked because you got greedy.

I've had the same luck with RNG not picking Cagnali Order storyline in rougelite and decided to bring that up on Discord. One of the devs posted the actual requirements for it to trigger:

– Cagnali's gang is still in the city
– it's never the first plotline triggered in the playthrough
– Police doesn't have robots yet (which happens with high investigation)
Then it's selected at random from the pool of available plotlines.

As for the Gold Cup, I don't think there are any other requirements other than the Dragon still being active. I've had his plotline trigger on day 3 a couple of times.

If you're actually going after a specific plotine, you can try knocking out gangs with plotlines you're not interested in. Knocking out, say, Khan locks you out of Import Export - fewer plotlines available means the ones you want are more likely to trigger.

The current conditions for Gold Cup are:
– Dollar Dragon is still in the city
– Baker and Dollar Dragon are neighbours on the map
– They don't have a truce
This is because the storyline starts with a clash between them in the turf war.

Otherwise, it's exactly as you said.
