From all the COD campaigns I played this was the lengthiest (including MW3, BOII, AW) and probably best campaign. Ofc you can't compare the story to e.g. Metro 2033/LL, but this isn't a bad or cheaply done campaign by any means.
You can read about past missions and about every person you meet in your office.
Even the credits add lore by letting you listen to....not gon spoiler but there's another ~5mins of voice mails.
If you take this as a piece of work and you play it on easy, read nothing and skip every side mission trying to rush to the end of the game it might be 4h or even 3h lol
Heck just try to exploit your way to the last mission so you can instantly uninstall after buying it! That's so cool /s
