I dunno; it's still difficult for me to warm up to Alyssa's plight. The alternate ending where she gets arrested reveals that she had zero qualms about sending two people off to die, as well as orchestrating Hope's assassination, which was set to happen just three days after Serah and Noel were taken care of.
She is cruel and cold blooded, but she got logical reason for her actions, while the inevitable fate of hers is crueller than anything, its better if she never taste living and freedom after the purge, rather she has to go through with it and taken from her.
