Vile Peaks wont load

I was trying to get into Vile Peaks but im getting stuck in the loading screen all the time. It appears to happen with both 10 AF and 200 AF versions. Im running pretty much all the enhancements and mods from this guide and everything worked really well so far. No crashes or inconveniences until now. Ive looked online but i didnt find anyone with the same problem.

Ok after some testing ive figured out that its most likely the Better Quality audio for Pre rendered cutscenes mod that screws with it. Ive checked gamefiles and downloaded some faulty files (probably from mods) and got into vile peaks with no problem. Ive installed all the mods a short while after and after ive defeated twilight odin the second time it got stuck again, probably waiting to load a cutscene that didnt exist/ didnt patch properly

I am extremly sorry for the bug that you had to encounter with my audio mod and I will look into my mod's files and check why exactly this issue even occurs. I would have looked into this bug almost immediately and a bit earlier if you had posted in the mod page's comment section itself.

Anyways thanks for mentioning about it here and this is quite a serious bug too from what you are saying. can you tell me which installer did you use to install this mod. is it the Modern PC installer or the Old PC installer ?

Thanks for looking into it! Ive used the old installer since i didnt want to install another piece of software

Are you completely sure that only this mod is causing the issue, and you were able to progress through the loading screen when this mod is not installed ?
Also you mentioned that you got stuck the second time as well and I am assuming that's happening with this mod installed ? correct ?

I am not sure if Vile peaks even had a pre rendered cutscene. my guess is that this bug could be from the HD mod which may still have some few unfixed bugs in some areas.

After some more testing surihix did he came to the conclusion that its not the audio enhancement mod but more the HD models one. Keep that in mind when coming across the same issue.

i messed with cheat engine on this game and there are some issues with how the game loads maps if something else is invalid. i know for a fact if you swap out music that's not the intended map level then you will get an infinite load, invalid coords causes either infinite load or black screen, invalid models can cause this too (though i haven't delved too much into the models other than being able to swap out characters in the party with non-playable ones).
