Japanese things and female sounds
Does Final Fantasy and other Asian culture anime/games/etc. really have to have the annoying sounds that all female characters make? Vanille is constantly making noises that sound sexual and it isn't just this. Come on now.

The answer is: yes. Try sprinting with Gaige in Borderlands 2 with Japanese dub once. :)

It can't be helped, you have to endure these cringeful cultural differences if you want to enjoy more "roots" japanese games...

The worst part is that the english voices are as awkward as the original hauahuah

Well, US dubs on the other hand always (not tend to, but always) feel the irresistible urge to talk all the damn time even when the original dub has just a sigh, a grunt, or in even more cases, saying absolutely nothing.
Still, at least it's still the lesser of the giant mistakes they always do.

Woah, Final Fantasy is extremely tame next to most things.
*shudder*

Try Tera for instance, or even Scarlet Blade ><

I just finished the game, and while i enjoyed the battle system, Vanille really tested my patience in the first 20 hours or so. There was a point were she was squealing constantly and I didnt know if I could continue on. Every time that girl opens her mouth, its like a grenade to my brain. Ive never been to japan, but I do know plenty of people who live where I am now that are from japan, and none of them make sexual groaning noises constantly. I dont see how this terrible tradition cant be "helped".

Im so happy FF6 existed in an era pre full voice acting. Imagine terra or celes being ruined by thier voices.

basically that's my issue. Vanille is driving me crazy. Any time she opens her mouth its some dumb sounding noise. The english dub anyway.

Vanille's moaning didn't bother me at all. It's more humorous than anything else, especially during her eidolon's finishing move.

Better than usual Western "masculine" female voices :-)

English dub for Vanille (not masculine) and Fang is horrible, their moaning is just......
