Should I expect much more harder boss fights?
I completed Chapter 9 today and I suffered a lot dealing with Barthandelus, first try I died when he used Destrudo 3rd time, second try I died in the beggining and in the third try defeated him with 13 minutes.
For me until now Barthandelus is the hardest boss I defeated in this game,I almost had an Heart Attack when he life as low and he as almost ready to use Destrudo.
I Heard I will fight Barthandelus two more time,it is more harder the 2nd time?
And could someone tell me good weapons for the characters?
Currently equipped:
Blazefire Saber LV 10,Deneb Duelers LV 8,Airwing LV 8,Binding Rod LV 9,Bladed Lance LV 3 and Wild Bear LV 2

The 2nd Barthandelus fight is probably the hardest boss fight in the game. However, you do have a lot more ability to grind past the fight than you do with the 1st Barthandelus.

Out of curiosity, did you try changing your lineup against Barthandelus? Some teams are much easier to win with than others. If you used the over-recommended Light/Fang/Hope party, you just beat one of the harder bosses in the game on the hardest possible setting.

All of those weapons except the Airwing are good, although there are some better options. These are generally considered the best weapons to upgrade for each character (note that several of these appear later in the game):

Lightning: Edged Carbine and Gladius
Hope: Hawkeye
Sazh: Rigels and/or Antares Deluxes
Snow: Power Circle and Feymark
Vanille: Belladonna Wand
Fang: Taming Pole

It depends. Barthandelus is the only hard boss you gonna fight in the corridor crystarium limit part. Game opens before second Bart, so it's gonna be easier to build your team along with more equipment and farm options. 2nd time can be easier or harder depending on how much you explore the battle system before him...

People also have a hard time with the second Proudclad, the chapter 12 mid boss. Plus there are the mission stone optional bosses, including a superboss.
And as tiornys suggested, rethink your equipped weapons. The Pulsian girls' SAB-enhancing weapons are god-level on Tier 2. For the rest you can experiment a little if you really want, but those recommendations are very solid for first play through.

Yes I changed my battle team before the battle, the team I used was Lightning,Sazh,Vanille.
And thanks I never considered Hawkeye as a good weapon (maybe I was idiot but ok) and yes I have one Hawkeye,I missed Edged Carbine,I have n LV 2 Power Cycle and Belladona Wand.
I Searched for the weapons you mention and most of them are only discovered on Chapter 11 or later...
Thanks

What you mean by game opens?

Chapter 11 will be a semi open world part where you can easily mess around for more time than you spend on the story.

How many hours is Chapter 10?
Chapter 11 is really big?I Heard people saying that this Chapter took like 10 hours to beat
FeathersTheGreat Nov 13, 2014 @ 3:43pm
Chapter 10 is rather short, I would compare it to the length of Chapter 5 (Gapra Whitewood)

The bosses do get harder as the game progresses, but only the 1st bart. and the 2nd Proudclad fight really gave me trouble. The rest of them you can beat using good stratagies mixed with trial and error.

Personally, I thought the second and third fights against Barthandelus were absolute pushovers compared to the first one. In terms of harder boss fights you will have to fight during the story, I had the most trouble with the one you fight straight after Barthandelus 3 (although a lot of people seemed to find it really easy, so maybe I just suck :P).

When I get to Chapter 11 did I should farm CP and do all the side-quests and hunt missions?

You don't have to do all of the hunts etc, but I would recommend doing a bit of CP farming (which will probably involve doing a few of the hunts), as it will make the next two chapters easier.

I'm in chapter 7 currently. Any suprises for me regarding boss battle?

No, the proto-florian was one of the hardest bosses in the game. Your next possible challenge will be the end of chapter 11.

Exactly as much as you want to. You can safely finish the game without touching the missions. They only give you additional items (accessories and components only, plus one shop), and unlock the chocobos (which can give you even more loot) and the superbosses. Plus give you a new section in the datalog where you can learn about the Pulsian mythology.

But the Proto-florian was one of the easiest boss fights in the game for me at least.
