I noticed that legs get staggered pretty easy with Imperil, but I can't survive his dmg with just sent+medi

I guess you need to unlock more of Crystarium by progressing story long after Grand Pulse as I see it that mob was intended to avoid first time you see him.

If you're trying to level crystarium or get the item drop that raises item levels quickly, you're going to want to use the death method with vanille. Later on in the game when your characters are strong enough, you can actually take it on by using 3 sentinels for when he's about to stomp, then quickly switch to an attack paradigm where a medic can heal you.

*Sigh* and like it wasn't hard enough already now they turned into GUIS ...

Is your Crystarium maxed out? If it isn't, you're going to have a hard time defeating them! You're better off leveling it to max, then trying them out again, as well as leveling up your weapons.

I would need 2mil to up my weapon next level and I got crystal 2 class level 5 and 1 like level 4

You need 3 sentinels. And max your crystarium and weapons. The best time to fight them is after you finish the story.

3 SENs with the ability to survive anything over 51% is enough, you just need 3 MEDs with Curaja type spells to heal yourself up again over the threshold in seconds. Otherwise use SABs and RAVs and be ready to switch to SEN×3 when you see the legs move to stomp or the text box appearing with an attack message.
Same for guis, although a shaolong can be a pain in the backside even on max level and tier 3 weapons. I swear it's faster to farm for the money instead of hoping for a dark matter drop.

There are three earth resistance rings: one on the Archylte Steppe on the plateau between the two stationary Adamantortoises/Long Guis, one on the 6th floor of Taejin's Tower, and one from completing mission 39. You can also get one from dismantling the Earth Charm, which is found on the eastern edge of the Archylte Steppe. If you've acquired and sold all of these, you can make do with physical resistance items, but you'll want more HP as they give less resistance, and you won't be protected from Quake (which mostly doesn't matter). However, in that case you might be locked out of Treasure Hunter, which is the most common reason people fight these enemies.

There are bad strategies for fighting these guys, and good strategies, and great strategies. Here's a collection of the best:

I killed first adamans very easy, but adamantortoise was just little bit too much for me and now that they are shaolong gui and long gui I get owned without any chance atm. I'm currently trying to farm some money to get my weapon last tier up, but I don't know if that helps because survival is my main problem, not dealing damage but anyway I'll up my crystals same time for more HP as well.

Our typical recommendation is to avoid fighting the Guis until you have max Crystarium. It's doable before then, but extremely difficult.

Just in case, I'll mention that the Adamantoise on Eden is still there if you want to farm 'toises efficiently.

What is max... everything level 5? or is there limit how much you can have before that.

Max Crystarium = all Crystarium nodes filled out--basically the Master Seal trophy. This is a bit more completion than just getting all roles to RL 5, because you can theoretically get that while skipping all the side nodes in the primary roles.

How to beat Long Gui in 10 steps based on my experience:

---Preparation---

1- You should make sure your characters have AT LEAST 4 maxed role, including 3 main roles + 1 secondary role. (Vanille max COM as 2nd role). Also, make sure you reach AT LEAST Sentinel level 2 on each member.*
2- Upgrade Weapon for Vanille, anything that gives high MAG. Reaching level 100 is good, but 80-90 should be fine.
3- Kick Hope out of the party. His HP is too pathetic. I would recommend 3 girls.**
4- Make sure Vanille is the leader, and she has the Genji Glove.

---Battle---

5- Poison BOTH legs.***
6- Whenever Long Gui IS ABOUT TO use an attack, switch to Sen/Sen/Sen to reduce damage.
7- When never he doesn't attack, heal and buff your party. (Haste is extremely recommended) Also, if Poison went out, recast poison on the legs
8- When the thing fall, INFLICT Poiso on it, probably Deshell and Imperil, and do anything to Stagger it.
9- Spam DEATH on the damn thing, BUT quickly switch Vanille to COM during the animation time.**** Should do 999999 damage if your MAG is high enough. Keep doing this until it gets up
10- Call an Eidolon to bring him down and repeat 8,9. :D

---Blablabla---
*SEN's role ability is reducing damage. Damage Reduced =10%*SEN role level.
**Snow and Sazh's MAG is not very high either AND Long Gui is resistant to physical attack (You deal 10% damage).
***This is probably his weakness because other variants' legs are not immune to Poison.
****COM's role ability is boosting damage. Damage Boost =10%*COM role level.

Snow is better than Fang as an AI ally. He's a massively superior healer, a slightly faster offensive caster, a better AI SYN (the AI sucks at using -ra buffs), and a bit easier to Magic-spec (important because you don't want your allies running up to the legs).

Death is just as good at killing the legs as it is at killing the body. You're taking advantage of Death's property (shared by all full-ATB abilities) to bypass Long Gui's Resist Physical/Resist Magical damage reduction. Death is favored because it has the highest damage multiplier of a spammable ability (x4, shared with Last Resort--Sovereign Fist and Highwind have higher multipliers at the cost of resetting the chain), and because it's the only full-ATB ability that can be made elemental by an En-spell, which allows you to double the damage from Death after you inflict Imperil on Long Gui (or its legs) to make them weak to all elements (if Last Resort could gain an element, there'd be an argument for using Hope over Vanille; since it can't, Vanille stands alone as the best Long Gui slayer).

At step 8, you actually don't want to rush to stagger. You want to build chain up to near stagger and then cast Death-->COM a few times before you actually stagger. If you rush to stagger, the stagger will end before Long Gui gets up, and you waste time trying to rebuild the chain. Instead, you can make better use of the full fall period by taking advantage of the high chain multiplier before you stagger. Done correctly, you can completely skip step 10, as you can kill Long Gui in a single fall.

This is all demonstrated in the farming vid linked above. There's more discussion of optimized Long Gui fighting here: http://etrosgate.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=114
