While playing my keyboard just stops responding all together on windows. That doesnt happen at all while not playing ff13.
I also have a fightstick i thought was the problem so i disconnected it but the problem was still there.
Yes i get that i probb need to get a "ps/xbox controller" And yes im going to order that. Just wondering if there is a way to solve my problem?
Thanks in beforehand!

Hey there, you're not alone!!! While it sucks for both of us, it makes me a bit glad I'm not the only one. DAMN game keeps me in it and doesn't let me go back to windows. I take extreme measures, when I shouldn't have to. This sucks, and since it's not a very common problem, it seems, I bet it will end up overlooked completely :(

I admit, I have been playing in fullscreen, so maybe playing in windowed mode will fix this?

I have to click alt+control+delete and choose (sorry my computer is in spanish) something like close session. It closes everything and I have to enter again to windows... but at least it works :(

Yeah i also believe many will overlook this. But im getting this problem in both "Fullscreen and Windowed mode" And i cant even press: Ctrl+Alt+Delete.

Soo we got ourself a weird problem.. We just have to hope someone that can help us read this!

I'm having the same problem, but sometimes when I pause the game and then press Alt + Tab or Ctrl + Alt + Del, it works normally.

Same issue...sorta. Sometimes when I enter a menu the hand just cycles down the options endlessly, and other times the backspace button doesn't work so I get stuck in a menu with no other option beside having to escape out of the game. The problem is, it is happening so frequently I can't even get from save point to save point before the game breaks and I have to escape out. And I tried playing in windowed mode to see if that fixed it and that didn't work. Neither Alt + Tab nor Ctrl + Alt + Del make the gave work for me. I think I'm stuck just not playing until it gets fixed

Is it possible that HID driver in Device Manager affecting this issue?

It's almost surely driver-related, yes. Can be caused by some manufacturer drivers if you use them instead of standard Windows ones; something gamepad-related; or anything that messes with input devices.

Well all this time after my comment. I still dont know what really is the problem. I bought a Xbox360 controller. It was the most easy way out of the trouble. AND the controll is awesome for alot of steamgames :) I got used to it rather quick even though im a Ps Enthusiast ^^

Happy Newyear!

I have the same problem but my hand cycles up.Its a newly partitioned drive with keyboard/mouse using Windows default drivers. So, its the game itself not working with certian systems.

If you are using one of a few certain usb keyboards then your problem may be there. A few games don't go well with keyrollover. Meaning when you press too many particular keys at once, it will basically shut down your keyboard because it can't keep up with too many simultaneous keystrokes. I've had this problem with a couple of games and unfortuntely the only option I found was to buy a keyboard with N-key rollover. I found a terrible quickfix to the problem by simply unplugging your keyboard and plugging it back in, not really the best option. Hope this helps for a few other people sorry there isnt an easier way.

No dice on the keyboard unplug. I have a ps3 controller and a wireless keyboard (logitech) I'm going to try. My original keyboard is a saitek elcipse, not exactly brand new.

I did have an issue with "N-key rollover" in the past when playing emulated chrono trigger.

swapping to the newer keyboard worked.

Glad i could help a little. I just recommend to anyone who has a simlar problem with other games or even this one to just buy yourself a keyboard with N-key rollover. Can probably find a cheap one for 50 bucks just be sure to research it before buying.
