Where are mods being applied?

Playing on Steam Deck seems like almost every mod is a .bat file. Which I can't run on the deck. So I was curious if I installed the game on my crummy laptop just to then run a bunch of .bat files, what folder on my PC would I just drag and drop to a USB stick and then USB stick to steam deck? So I can basically mod it on PC but then run those mods on the Deck. Ya know?

For XIII-II, I installed the game on Deck, copied it to a USB drive, and plugged the drive into my laptop to run the batch files... Then just mount the USB drive back in the Deck and merge\overwrite the files. Worked just fine.

You can find the location of an installed game easily by right clicking on it in your Steam library list in desktop mode, 'browse local files'....

Thanks for the reply! I did end up doing basically that. Was able to get the HD Models mod working. Didn't mess with the full HD mod as I didn't wanna risk tanking performance on the deck further.

I haven't looked into XIII-2 mods yet as I am still playing XIII. What kind of mods does it have?

XIII-2 doesnt seem to have many mods available... Nexus has mods for Body sculpting, HD textures, and better audio... A guide on Steam has links to a console content restoration mod and a few others....
