easter egg? Predator blood

South East of the ancient Oak fast travel sign i found a smell trail
After Geralt said "what is this stench?"

After following the trail i noticed green blood on the ground every few yards.
I just stops at a tree

Is this a easter egg to the first predator movie?

I just found myself in the same place. Just wondering what is this green blood about once the trail starts and ends up at no special places.

Dunno, but there's at least 2 blatant movie easter eggs I've ran across so far.

There's a conversation between 2 guards in the barons keep which is straight from Pulp Fiction and the whole Hattori dude making dumplings instead of swords is obviouly a reference to Kill Bill.

The 2 guards say this:

Time to bring out the gimp
I think the gimps asleep
Well then, guess you have to wake him up.

which is what Zed and the shopkeep say at the end when they bring out the gimp. :P

Isn't this the Wyvern goo thingy from the Nilfgaardian contract?

Try to go there with the contract, if it is, Geralt will comment something like "Hm... Wyvern Goo... He just moved here"

If you're using your Witcher senses, you'll hear leaves moving and they sound a little like the Predator noise, but it would've been pretty cool if it was actually an easter egg XD

Yeah, i noticed the sound as well. But at that point i was sure i was projecting my own wishes into the game :P
