The Price of Honor - Dowrey? (minor spoilers)
I am currently doing The Price of Honor quest. I found the bodies and looted a key. I assume that it is for the Dowrey that is mentioned in several places. I also read the letter with the key, mentioning the Dowrey, and the ghosts say that the dowrey is drowned (therefore, underwater).

However, the quest does not point me towards the dowrey, and going to the next quest point ends the quest.

I found a sunken boat near the corpse on the beach with a locked chest, but I can't seem to open it... I tried reloading and doing the quest again, with no luck...

Anyone know if the quest is glitched, or if the dowrey is anywhere else?

When I tried doing the same, instead of the "Lock" headline I hand "Unlock", but no matter how many times I tired, it didn't budge. I guess it's bugged.

Can confirm this chest is bugged. Is supposed to contain crowns you can return to the quest-giver or keep for yourself, but is impossible to open at present.

Just came upon this quest, the chest is still bugged as of 1.08.

Yes, this chest are bugged (after complete it became simple decoration - even "Lock" disapperaed)

1.10 changelog: "Adds missing interaction to locked chest in minor quest titled The Price of Honor."

Hope this is fixed always felt bad for that guy losing everything and not even getting the money.

They most likly know about it but dont seem to have fix as of yet. At least they are fixing the game.

I have the GOG version of the game, and the chest is not interactible ( whereas before 1.10 it would never unlock, like people mentioned )... I did not start a new game with 1.10; this was an older save - so I guess the fix isn't retroactive.

Latest patch + HoS - Steam version here. Chest opened fine for me (finally). Finished the quest with giving the poor sod the dowry.

I have gog version (downloaded with galaxy client) and it worked with old save.

Supposedly was fixed with the 1.10 patch, but if so, then the recent 1.11 patch must have rebugged it because I cannot even interact with the chest. Does have open or otherwise showing when I get close to it, nor does it even register with my witcher's sense. Seems like the more they 'fix', the more they break.
