next Gen on Steam Deck - Wow

So the Next Gen version of the W3 DX12 runs even smoother on Steam Deck.
I feel like its way more stable and smooth on 40hz with mid settings overall.

Well, maybe we have different steam decks, But unless this is the case, I ask myself, why we might have different impressions on this one. I started a new game. When turning around in the gryphon scene, the fps on mid settings drop to the mid 30s. As soon, as you arrive in the first village, the drop to 30fps. I am (or was, since I downgraded to last gen again) using fsr 2.1 on quality.

Yeah I can't get solid 40 either. However I found 30 perfectly acceptable on deck as with FSR2 it looks so much better than the old version which ran at 60 (or DX11 which I haven't tried, but its less hungry on my normal PC so I presume will get better perf on deck)

Because Valve fixed it, CDPR should just ask Valve how to fix their game.
Apply the Proton Hotfix.

Agreed. After the Proton Hotfix this runs really well. Just make sure you tinker with the settings a bit and set your refresh rate to 40. Comparing this to the switch version of the game, it's by far the best way to play The Witcher 3 on the go.

I can't get passed the initial launcher screen. I have to hit "Exit Application" and can't play at all. What am I missing? Tried DirectX12 and DirectX11 etc Help :(
