Is Avallac'h a traitor ?

He helps Ciri but does not seem to like her, is there a reason for that ?

Real reason for not liking her? Or helping her? EIther way it's all explained in game. Sort answer - Elder blood.

I don't remember actually why exactly he doesn't like her ):
Though she is an abomination (from an Aen Elle's point of view) and a far offspring of a traitor.

Avallac'h isn't a traitor, I also don't believe he likes her or dislikes her. He just doesn't want an apocalypse. You don't have to dislike or like someone, you just have to treat them as a human.

He is an elf, therefore as all elves in almost every single story, they look down on humans and other races. They consider themselves above them, therefore seeing how a human is such a powerful being with Elder blood, it kind of irks him I guess.

He may not like her, but he does what needs to be done when situation demands it.

He has a shrine, dedicated to that traitor... Or is she really buried there? He used the magic lantern on it after all. It is also mentioned he wants to revive the Elder bloodline and needed her remains for it.

He is responsible for mass genocide so yeah one hell of a guy. When you think about it Eredin was telling the truth the whole time, i just dont get why Ciri of all people wanted to let him live.
