I just did the preparations and then nothing happened after that... I didn't even get a cutscene with radovid's death or anything... Is my game bugged?
Its great how this game works, see i wanted to get away from the politics, i ran off with Yennefer, Trained Ciri to be a witcher left politics to those who have more interest. While you really are diggin those politics eh?
I still think Temeria as a vassal state isnt bad shame about the other countries though but i care more about people than borders. Ciri would have been miserable as empress and from what i saw on my travels Nilfgaard was better than Redania in treating the populace.
Its much later in the game my friend ..no need to worry.
First of all, massive kudos for the name.
I agree, Cerys is the better ruler.
People say that it's bad that Cerys doesn't go and help you if she's queen. What? No!
It;s suggested that skelllige is in conflict because the last ruler, Bran went off on adventures and ignored his country.
Would it have been better if Hjalmar was king? The kind of guy who would say, yeah screw skellige, i needs to kill me some wind hunt wraiths.
Also, in king;s gambit Cerys investigates the crime. Hjal just goes off to kill the Wildkarls. In fact, if you play through Cerys' mission it seems to be suggested that Vildkarls transformed into bears because they were poisoned. The herb in the mead forced their bear-canthropic form to trigger.
So this means that Hjalmar just went off to slaughter innocent people.
Either way, let's not talk about the ruler of skelige, as this thread is devoted to something completely different. This is a topic for a whole other discussion. [/quote]
picking hjalmar was actually my first choice since I kinda had the idea that if Cerys would be queen, Skellige will turn from a roaring lion into a tiny kitty. BUT NOT i was totally wrong. Good thing I got her to be queen. Also, no idea what if i went with Hjalmar's quests in solving the mystery it would turn out to be in vain. Close call right there haha
and yes we are already off topic hehe.
Hjalmar though is a warrior king which is what i wanted but yes as Cerys pointed out Bran was also a warrior king and this resulted in alot of infighting on Skellige as he travelled/adventured alot.
