New or old outfits? Opinions?
Curious to as what people think about the dlc alternative outfits for Yennefer, Triss, and Ciri... I personally dislike Yennefers alternate outfit entirely, Triss' hair is nicer however her new clothing is meh, it looks really nice graphic wise but doesn't suit her personality. I really like Ciri's new outfit though, doesn't fit for a girl running from the wild Hunt however.

*SPOILERS*

I kept Ciri's new outfit off till I found her and she was safe from the wild hunt after the fight at Kaer Morhen. After that I wondered why she didn't get something a bit nicer and more tidy.

Old on all accounts.

Yen and Triss: old
Ciri: new because she looks more grown up in it. In her white blouse she looks like a 12 year old.
It looks odd however when she is still wearing the original outfit in cutscenes, like she quickly changes back to her old clothes.

Old for the three of them. It suits more their personalities or purpose in the game. The tidy and sophisticated Yen. The vagabond Triss trying to free mages in novigrad and the childish and playful Ciri.

New Yen allround (she's not a priestess for ploughing sake) Triss I changed to old only for major battles, Ciri's came out quite late so -new after isle of mists. funny how half of the male characters in the game (including Geralt) have the option to walk around the area shirtless and pantless and nobody is insulted by that ))) Cheers

Shows their current outfits in cutscenes for me, new or old as I use them respectively.
Depends on the scenes for me. I don't really see the new outfit at all for Yen. For Triss, the new outfit works at the party. For Ciri the new outfit works after you save her, she's been on the run so it comes across as her getting some new clothes.

There are a couple of cutscenes in Kaer Morhen, which I think are pre-rendered, this is when characters are shown in their original outfits. SPOILERS Example, Yen activating the shield, and Ciri doing her magic shout. Also Geralt is not in those scenes, hence my believe that they are pre-rendered

Triss Merigolds new outfit is atrocious.

The Triss outfit makes her look like she should be selling home made candles at the farmers market on Sundays...

Triss's outfit looks a bit like she is a ♥♥♥♥♥ working at the Passiflora, great outfit for hiding in Novagrad, except when running thru the sewers. yens is a bit better, although the feathers would make it hard to keep clean, unless she uses magic to wash them. I prefer the travel clothes.

Yen and Ciri new, triss old

Yen new, Ciri and Triss old.

For Ciri, I liked how it was noted by one of the Baron's men that he was surprised to see a girl in a mans garb being able to hunt as she did. Her new outfit, although very warrior like, get's rid of her tough girl look imo.

Triss's dress looks very nice but it's just too impractical. It's basically screaming, "Look at me I'm a very important person!". She might as well be hiding in the Passiflora with that outfit.

Yen's outfit, I like. I never really liked her default outfit. Her new one looks nice without being overly provocative or impractical.

All new. Ciri's outfit was originally stupid so couldnt get worse really. Now though she actually has something on instead of a magical shirt that defends against blades.

Yennefer's outfit i think suits her better as she is living in Nilfgaard where appearances are paramount. Also the whole sorceress thing, being the seductress' that they are. They use magic to look good so why wouldnt they dress appropriately ?
The original look wasnt bad though either.

Triss' outfit is good but yes abit silly considering she should be blending into the crowd (original outfit is good for this). However she looks ten times better with the DLC and since she teleports everywhere i thought oh what the hell. She could be a rich noblemans daughter for all the guards know, sometimes hiding in plain sight is the best option.

I was just finishing my third playthrough and from Avallac'h's place to the ending she had her old clothes in all the cutscenes but her new outfit as soon as I had control of her.

Triss old. New for Yennefer and Ciri. The problem with new outfits are that the cutscenes have the old outfits. So you meet Yenefer in White Orchard and get on your horse and when you ride with he she somehow changed her outfit while riding the horse twice.
