Count Reuvens Treasure ...spoilers
I can not just sit there and let them torture Triss..although I cannot help but think that fooling Menge might give a better outcome. Although if I fool him will I get a chance to kill him later. Because I really despise the guy.

He dies regardless of your decision. And yes, fooling Menge gives a slightly better outcome.

Heh, I wen't there with the intention of finding that treasure too.. I never made it past the guards at the door before someone got upset, pulled out a blade and everything just went up in the air.
Oh well.. Let the fat pig find his own treasure. Like he's not rich enough without it already.

I think you have to fool how to find you where the treasure is , while you can find out where dand is anyway.

The best outcome in this quest always come from letting triss suffer.

From a gameplay point of view, there is not a major difference between the three possible outcomes, as you always find out where Dandelion is, and always find the key to the treasure. However, you only get the full reward for the treasure if you ask Menge about its location (and not Dandelion as you are told).

I always choose the outcome where I let them kill Triss and Geralt joins the Witch Hunters and abandons his search for Ciri altogether. This choice is only available if you've imported a W1 save into W2 and a W2 save into W3.

If you dupe him completely you dont find out where the treasure is. Triss kills him when you go through to see why things are so quiet. She was just playing possum.

First time round i asked him while they were torturing her about the treasure and it went to hell...I found out where the treasure was but Triss was pissed that i didnt follow the plan.

Still i found the treasure and knew were dandelion was while duping him completely just netted dandelion because Triss couldnt control her temper.

So ASK about the treasure, she gets over it.

Indeed^ Few would believe that actually reults in the best ending but it does.

Finding Dijkstra's treasure gives you 1000 crowns and some unnecessary items when you ask for help for the Kaer Morhen battle. Not much. Getting those means Triss will lose a few fingernails which she will apparently magically regenerate quite soon.

So, get almost nothing, for the price of Triss suffering a bit for no permanent harm. Your call.

Thank you..I ended up asking about the treasuse and had to fight everyone anyway. But this seems like an alternate best way to proceed since I gave the location to Reuven.
