you have to enable the alternative movement in options. It's a lot more responsive

Yeah the new mode is like a 5 year old on a sugar rush while the older mode seems more real and realistic.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the new movement is amazing. I didn't really have major issues with it before, except in tighter spaces and roach beeing stubborn from time to time.
But now it feels so much more direct and responsive, no lag, like, as if my framerate has increased 'tho it is still 60 fps most of the time.
I love it, this is a case of "you don't know what you're missimg out until you have tried it"

So from what I gather, the new movement makes you move smoother? I am also having trouble noticing a difference on my controller.

Yeah. Before it was like I was telling Geralt to move, and he does it when he can. Now I feel that Geralt move when I actually want him to. It does feel a bit less "natural", but so much more comfortable!
pike Jul 18, 2015 @ 5:47pm
on regular mode he doesnt over run as much (thats good ) , but combat still is bad , still feels like i'm just there to watch the cool moves , i dont feel as though i'm in control
stallfish Jul 18, 2015 @ 5:48pm
Now Geralt move only with two speed (walk and run). Why they turn off smoothly change of movement speed (on joypad stick)???
