What becomes of Kaer Morhen? [SPOILERS]

So, what exactly becomes of Kaer Morhen after the main quests, I returned and it seemed to just be a desolate place. Is there nothing more to do? And most importantly; what becomes of Eskel and Lambert? I know Eskel he said he would go "East" but does he still remain in the game? Same with Lambert leaving with Kiera Metz, where does he go? Are there any NPCs left in Kaer Morhen at all?

I think from the books and what not they all go out to work in the warmer months then come back to KM to hide out over the winter. Without a certain older character who seems to look after the place I don't know who keeps an eye on things.

I haven't seen any NPCs at KM since I completed the main quest.

Keira stays at Kaer Morhen, you have to exit somewhere on the right (I climbed the wall and almost killed myself), and she is outside to sell stuff

KM is abandoned after what happens there. The only person that stays there is Letho, and thats only if hes alive. If you speak to Eskel after the events he'll tell you hes going to ride further into the valley and set up a permanent camp, he cant comfortably remain in KM any longer. and no, he vanishes from the game because after this point KM becomes inaccessible.

After (were in a spoiler thread) vesimir dies lambert and eskel both decide that without him there is no point in staying at Kaer Morhen.

Exactly. Only Letho stays.

They all leave as they said they would. Lambert goes off with Keira, Eskel (when you talk at cremation) says he will never return there, place is a ruin now.
