Bugged acheievement: Shrieker
Killed the bugger and looted his corpse, turned in the quest, but the achievement didn't pop. WTF?

Nope, because I did a clean install with the latest patch and started a new game. No achievements either.

buh. I did 3 contracts today for the even odds achievement. I was wondering why the achievement wouldn't pop.

Funny, I put off playing this until I had completed 1 and 2 first and imported saves. By the time I started playing this, I'm certain it was already 1.0.8.1. So the console disables achievements? Well, then that explains it. Didn't get the Even Odds one, either. I found the easiest way to get Geralt's beard back was to use the console since I wasn't sure when it'd grow back. :| If I delete the files, will achievements work again?

The mod I used is "Debug Console Enabler Updated" and it says nothing about breaking achievements in the readme. I don't get it. Well, I deleted the plugins folder and the dsound.dll anyway. Hopefully that did the trick.

I've never used console commands, and I started fresh after the .8 patch .. no mods, nothing weird, completely normal version of the game ..

But achievements are busted for me, they're still not popping properly.

The annoying thing is I have many of the straight-forward achievements already because before re-starting the game I was a fair ways through ... so I have to test with more annoying ones like Even the Odds or the Enemy of my Enemy thingamabob.

Anyway I have problems with achievements & it's a game that was started AFTER the .8 patch and WITHOUT ever touching console commands .. so I thought it might be worth a mention.

Do you have source to confirm this patch is coming?
