Can anyone recommend a working mod that makes nights darker?
- Darker nights is trash, when you look around the brightness changes depending on camera angle

- Wiedzmin lighting mod makes the game darker but light sources become so dim you can barely see anything even with torch

So any other ideas?

Edit: Tried a torch mod with wlm again, it was way better once I gave it higher priority over the lighting mod, then added my reshade preset and the results were very good. Thanks for suggestions everyone.

Have you tried realistic darkness? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1531882210
Have you tried not being a waste of oxygen?

I posted that by mistake and deleted it two minutes later. Have you tried not being a miserable sack?

Considering your memey profile picture and the fact this forum is filled with trolling ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it wouldn't be a surprise if you were just being an ass. If it wasn't your intention then I'm sorry.
atmospheric nights maybe.
Just get any lighting mod like the overrated Super Turbo lighting mod that makes night time and any dark areas too damn dark. Do you want it to be so dark that night vision doesn't even work? Super Turbo is your thing.
I wholly and fully recommend PLM. (Pheonix Lighting Mod). I’ve used multiple mods (STLM and others) and it’s hands down the best one I’ve ever used. The mod author updates often and is responsive to issues and has helped out with other mod conflicts. Give it a go my dude.

Yes I agree, tlm is oversaturated and overrated garbage, looks like absolute trash.

I tried it and realised it's made by the author of wlm. The problem persisted, however this made me try a brighter torch mod and mess with the load order, turns out you have to give torches higher priority or otherwise they get overwritten. Eventually I just went back to wlm as I prefer it's lighting but with a torch mod and slapped my reshade config on it. It's perfect now :cow_sun:

Mind if I ask what mod you used for a reshade? I tried proshadows, but it didn’t play all that nice with everything.
I'm using my own configs, vast majority of the nexus ones are just bad, as if a 10 year old started playing with saturating instagram filters. I can however recommend this one ( not sure if it'll play with lighting mods but worth a try ) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5vG5fADrzQ
I'll also be uploading my presets to nexus at some point. Most of them just add slight retouches to colors and contrast to improve on existing image rather than makje it into something different.

What torch mod, just curious. So many mods unsupported I waste time installing things that don't work, or worse. Thanks
https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/2271 works better with darker image

https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/2925 light is weaker but looks more realistic and has better shadow effects

both worked for me, personal preference which one is for you
